May the 4th be with you!

Happy Star Wars Day everyone!

As many know, we are huge Star Wars Fans! I wasn't a huge Star Wars fan before I met my husband. I maybe watched one of the movies prior and that's all. When we first started to date I wasn't the Star Wars fan and he wasn't a big Disney fan. My husband showed me the love of Star Wars and I showed him the love of Disney. He had me watch all of the original movies plus the prequels and that's when I understood the love of the franchise. Since then we have gone to all the premiers of all the new Star Wars movies! Star Wars has such a special place in my heart now. Talia's middle name is also named after Rey. Today we took photos at home of course, but if we could we would've been at Disney's Hollywood Studios celebrating! We are missing Batuu. We bought Talia's Rey dress from a wonderful shop Taylor Joelle and Jace's Padawan in training is from BoxLunch (I have a horrible obsession with them!)

We did our son's gender reveal with Chewbacca! Also our son's newborn and 1st birthday photos were Star Wars themed! So when I say Stars Wars is huge to us I mean it! Speaking of Star Wars... who else loves Galaxy Edge?! The first time we stepped into Batuu we were in awe! We truly felt that we were in a Star Wars planet. We love that Rey, Kylo Ren, Chewbacca, and Storm Troopers walk around! It's such a fun experience and we love visiting there. We have even built a droid before! Also Launch Bay is such a great place to visit when you are a Star Wars fan! I mean how can you go wrong with a Chewbacca hug?! Also seeing all the cool movie items in there from the new and old films are super cool! And meeting BB8 of course is just adorable! I will do an additional post about Droid Depot and Galaxy Edge another time!

Who else remembers Star Wars Weekends! I love Galaxy Edge but I hate that they took Star Wars Weekends away! It was always such a blast! They had a Hyperspace Hoopla Stage show, Star Wars parade during the day (with featured actors/actresses from Star Wars), Darth Mall and so much more! The last Star Wars Weekends they also had character dining at Sci-Fi and Hollywood Vine! We did the one at Sci-Fi which had Darth Vader and Boba Fett (the main reason we did it!), it was so much fun and the food was super good! I had the Darth Vader shaped Waffle and how could you ever go wrong with that?! I wish they still offered this as well! When we did Star Wars Weekend the first time I still haven't seen all the movies yet so I was a tad confused on some things hahaha. I remember when Warrick Davis said hi to me I did fangirl though because he is Professor Flitwick in Harry Potter.
