Happy Birthday Hollywood Studios!

Updated: May 2, 2020

Okay I know I am a day late to be posting this but I've always had a love for Hollywood Studios or as I still remember it as MGM Studios! It's crazy how much Studios has changed over the years. I personally think it's the park that has transformed the most (I bet Epcot will beat that after theirs though). I have experienced so much at Studios that is no longer there. Things I wish my kids could experience as well. The biggest thing I miss is The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. For those who do not know what this was, it was during the Holiday season in a location called Streets of America (where Galaxy Edge is now) and all the buildings there were covered in millions of lights and danced to Christmas music. It was my favorite part of Christmas (minus the Castle Lighting). You could just sit there in awe just staring at these lights! I have spent countless hours there. You would just automatically sing and dance along. Everyone was always so happy there. Plus Santa Goofy was there. It truly got you into the season and the last season in 2015 I cried. Yes I was excited for a change and for Galaxy Edge but I loved this so much! I know if Talia and Jace were around they would've loved it. They also had the best gumdrop cocktail!

I grew up when it was MGM Studios and it was always so much fun! My children will never grow up in the Studios I grew up in, but that's okay. They have a different kind of Studios and they love it already! I mean Chewbacca hugs are the best! We love making new kinds of memories. I wanted to show some additional older photos of things no longer in Studios that many miss and love! Also they used to have awesome character meet and greets! I will also forever miss Star Wars Weekend and Great Movie Ride! Enjoy!
