Are you ready to embark on an enchanting adventure under the sea? At SEA LIFE Orlando at Icon Park, the ocean's most mythical creatures come to life during a limited-time event that promises to leave you spellbound. From swimming mermaids to magical meet & greets, this is an experience you won't want to miss. This Mermaid Event is currently running Fridays-Sundays from now until October 29th and best of all? Its all included with your admission! Lets jump into it!
Dive deep into the ocean and witness real mermaids as they gracefully swim alongside stingrays, sea turtles, zebra sharks and a vibrant array of tropical fish in our Atlantic Ocean habitat. This part is truly magical to see the mermaids in the aquarium swimming around and there are so many viewing locations to see them! In the Atlantic Ocean/Shipwreck cove area you can see them as well as learn all about them and the sea life surrounding them by educators from SEA LIFE. Over in the 180 degree tunnel and 360 degree tunnel, you can also visit with them. Don't worry, they make their rounds to be sure all regions are seen! So if you miss them in one spot, head to the next and wait for them to come and see you! We had the opportunity to see two majestic mermaids swimming around during our visit and it was just pure magic, especially seeing it through my children's eyes. You can spot them between 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. So if this you main reason for visiting, be sure to plan accordingly!
After you finish seeing the mermaids swimming around, be sure to head to the Feeding Frenzy area to meet with a mermaid on land! This gives you an opportunity to speak with one of the mermaids and learn all about them! This is a perfect chance to make some wonderful memories with our mermaid friends! We met mermaid Jules twice and she was so amazing, kind and patient! You can meet with one of the mermaids between 11:30 am to 6:30 pm.

Side note, but SEA LIFE Orlando is a Sensory Inclusive Location now and I truly appreciate this extra step they have taken to make sure everyone feels included as an autism mom. This includes sensory bags, headphones, extra trainings for the workers and also a quiet space. So big shout to them!
